Cygnetise obtains ISO 27001 certificate for Information Security
Cygnetise has obtained ISO 27001 certification which is yet another proof of the security and safety of its leading authorised signatory management platform.
Last month, Cygnetise obtained the leading international standard certification for information security, ISO 27001. The certification is yet another validation of Cygnetise’s continued commitment to providing the most secure and efficient authorised signatory data management solution on the market.
Published by International Organization for Standardization (ISO), ISO 27001 is the internationally recognised standard for Information Security. The Standard sets out the policies and procedures needed to protect organisations and includes all the risk controls (legal, physical and technical) necessary for robust IT security management.
However, ISO 27001 covers much more than just IT. An important part of the Standard concerns data security across all areas of a business, including both its online or offline environments.
To receive the certification, Cygnetise had to undergo a series of formal third-party assessments of its entire internal operation and control infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on the following 4 key areas:
